Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by IFF has announced Sci-Feel, a line of four products available in the matterverse — a version of the metaverse that focuses on texture — and physically.

The formula range aims to engage consumers in the metabeauty trend with creating their own “phygital” product through gaming while educating on science and nature.
The four formulations include:
- Liquid_Charm — A gliding, fluid pearly essence for optimal skin state with a light touch and glazing cyborg-skin finish.
- Jelly_Juice — A natural gel-cream with a watery touch and saturated protection for a fresh, translucent blush.
- Cream_Shock — A cryo-melting gel-cream with a cream-to-water texture for relaxed skin.
- Extra_Cake — An iridescent, bouncy and unctuous cream highlighter offering skin illumination and hair protection with a cooling touch.
According to the company, digital gaming provides to the beauty industry a new engagement platform for consumers to be immersed in a virtual world and take on different personas that allow for individual self-expression by completing various tasks and challenges.
