Croda will present on Suppliers Day, hosted by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists, at booth 417 to share its latest ingredient and formulation innovations designed to meet evolving consumer needs, alongside its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

Its personal care brands offer a complete formulation solution, with functional and effective ingredients from Croda, bioactive ingredients from Sederma, and botanicals from Crodarom and Alban Muller. Its formulation bar will take center stage on stand, showcasing how these brands synergistically combine to offer formulation inspiration when it comes to complete self-care and looking after skin and hair.

At the Croda booth, attendees can expect to learn about its new sustainable and bio-based ingredients, innovative formulations, and cutting-edge technologies across skin care, solar care, hair care and color cosmetics. A team of experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance on how to achieve product development goals.

Ingredient Spotlight

Croda’s dedication to sustainability is evident in its ECO Range. The 100% bio- based ECO Range is the widest range of 100% renewable surfactants on the market. By using an alternate route to EO with bioethanol from biomass sources, it significantly increases the bio-based content of ethoxylated products and reduces reliance on fossil fuels. The ECO Range caters to the tremendous consumer need for greener products and supports Croda’s goals to be Climate, Land, and People Positive by 2030.

Incromine BD is a quat-free, readily biodegradable conditioning agent with effective detangling and smoothing benefits while addressing the unmet consumer need for sustainable hair care innovation. Crodasinic LS30 is a high-performance, sulphate-free, non-ionic surfactant that provides excellent foaming and emulsifying properties, making it a versatile ingredient for use in skincare, hair care, and other personal care applications.

Keeping up with trends in skin and solar care, the company will showcase its Solaveil MicNo range. This innovative range of zinc oxide powders and dispersions are based on patented, platelet-shaped structures that are micron-sized yet transparent when applied to the skin. This makes them extremely versatile and suitable for a wide range of end applications and skin phototypes. We will be showcasing the latest skin care ingredient launches from Croda in ChromaPur CV2 and CV7. These high-quality spheroidal cellulose powders are obtained from sustainable practices across the production cycle, and thanks to their unique profile and properties, ChromaPur CV2 and CV7 can offer a sustainable alternative to plastic micro-beads in skin care and color cosmetic applications.

Sederma will be launching Mel(O)Stem, a skin care active obtained from plant cell culture and dedicated to fading both age-related and sun exposure pigmentation disorders for an even skin complexion. Our Botanical Alliance, made up of Crodarom and Alban Muller, will showcase Zanthocare, the perfect ingredient for inclusive body care with proven balancing, protecting, and soothing properties.
