Kylie Jenner sets pulses racing to promote new Kylie Cosmetics launch

Kylie Jenner put on a sultry display in a new teaser clip she uploaded on Instagram on Wednesday to promote a new lipstick line for her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics. 

The TV personality, 25, who is confirmed to be dating actor Timothee Chalamet, could be seen sporting a fitted, plain white tank top along with black underwear at the beginning of the video. 

The mother of two strolled through a dimly lit parking garage wearing sheer, black nylons, and open-toed, black strappy heels to complete her look for the sultry, promotional clip. 

A retro filter was added over the reel, and transitioned to close-ups of her lips and back to her walking through the parking structure. 

The video then jumped to her wearing plain black underwear along with a matching, black bandeau top as she stood inside of a shower, with water droplets scattered on her face. 

After flashing to a close-up of her face to show off a bold lip color that is most likely included in the new lipstick line, the clip transitioned to security camera footage of her standing inside an elevator with her arms crossed.

The reality star sent a look up towards the camera, and could be seen exiting the elevator from a security monitor. 

The video also cut to different shots of her face to show off a vibrant red lipstick, and a tint that contained a cooler tone. 

At one point, Kylie could be seen applying a nude-colored, matte lipstick, with the reel then jumping to a clearer vision of the star standing in front of a white backdrop as she slowly tilted her head with her eyes firmly locked on the camera. 

She donned a different outfit for the shot, and opted for a white, sleeveless bodysuit and showed off a few of her favorite poses as the clip came to a close. 

A voiceover from the media personality, who currently boasts 387 million fans and followers, stated, ‘I can’t remember a lot of dreams I had,’ followed by sounds of a camera rewinding. 

Her voice dropped to a deeper tone due to a sound filter and then added, ‘When no one’s watching,’ adding an almost eerie effect. 

At the end of the teaser, loud dial up sounds could be heard with the reality star herself then whispering, ‘Kylie Cosmetics.’ 

The beauty mogul, who launched her successful Kylie Cosmetics brand back in 2015, has been preparing for the launch of 24 new matte and creme lipstick shades that will be available to consumers later this month on April 26. 

During a recent interview with Homme Girls that was published earlier this week, the mother of two, Stormi, five, and one-year-old son Aire, revealed, ‘I think my love in life, my passion, is makeup.’ 

The star added, ‘I started my brand when I was seventeen. I’ve grown so much, I have such a different vision for what I want it to be.’ 

Jenner also hinted at what else is in store for her brand in the near future. ‘I used to do a lot of limited-edition collections which are so fun, but my goal is to continue to elevate and extend the core line. This year and beyond we’re looking to do things we’ve never done before.’ 

Kylie also revealed that becoming a mother has also altered her vision on self-beauty and confidence. ‘It’s made me love myself more. I see my features in my daughter and my son now, but you know, my daughter looks like me.’ 

The Kardashians star continued, ‘I get to see my beauty in her, and it’s made me love myself more for sure. Beauty is always changing for me.’ 

She also got candid about the ‘insecurity’ regarding her lips over the years. ‘I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t!’ 

Kylie explained that although she loved and ‘wanted full lips,’ she stated that, ‘growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone.’ 

‘I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.’ 

Along with focusing on her beauty empire and raising her two children, whom she shares with rapper and ex, Travis Scott, the star will also appear in the third season of The Kardashians which is slated to premiere next month on Hulu on May 25. 

The TV personality has also most recently been romantically linked to Hollywood actor, Timothee Chalamet. 

The two stars first sparked speculation that they were dating earlier this month due to a post on the gossip blog, DeuxMoi, which was tipped that Kylie and Timothee have been dating since January of this year, not long after she officially split from Travis. 

Also on Wednesday, a source informed People that the two stars ‘hang out every week,’ but noted that the budding romance is ‘not serious.’  

‘She is getting to know him. Kylie is having fun. After years of back and forth with Travis [Scott], she just wants to date without any pressure,’ the insider added. 

After revealing that the two stars first crossed paths at an event earlier this year, the source continued, ‘They have a lot to chat about,’ and that the mother of two thinks Chalamet ‘is fun and charming.’ 

Earlier on Monday, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that both Kylie and Timothee were seeing each other and enjoying a ‘casual romance.’ 

‘It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.’

This past weekend, Jenner whisked herself to the California desert to join her sister, Kendall Jenner, at Coachella, without the actor by her side. The insider revealed, ‘Kylie decided she didn’t want to make things public with Timothee this past weekend at Coachella and really just wanted to chill and have fun with her friends.’ 

The source, however, hinted that Chalamet is no stranger to mingling with the Kardashian/Jenner family. ‘Timothee is also friends with Kendall so it’s been easy for Kylie to integrate him into her life.’ 

Last week, the stars spent quality time together during a lowkey date in Los Angeles by stopping at Tito’s Tacos. Shortly before, Kylie’s sleek, black Range Rover was seen parked in the driveway of Timothee’s Beverly Hills home. 

Both the beauty mogul and the Call Me By Your Name actor have yet to publicly comment on the budding romance.
